Feride Çetin was born in 1980. In 2001, she graduated from Istanbul University Department of Cinema and Television. Subsequently, she completed her master's degree in Marmara University Deparment of Cinema and then continued her studies as a postgraduate at the same university. Her film career began when she went to the movie set of Kutluğ Ataman to be an assistant. After being discovered by Ataman on the set of the film “İki Genç Kız”, she attracted great attention by portraying the character of Behiye, the leading role of the film. In addition to her acting, she also has about fifteen short films directed by herself, is the author of two books and and is experienced in the fields of translation, magazine publishing, and journalism. Finally, she acted in the TV series “Hercai”.
