Kübra Çiğdem İnal was born in Ankara, Türkiye in 1974. She graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of English Language and Literature in 1997 and from İstanbul University, Department of Spanish Language and Literature in 2018. She did her master’s degree in Educational Management and Supervision. She has studied at various language schools in England, Spain and Argentina. In 2017, she went to Cambridge University and attended lectures on different periods of English literature. She has completed the editor, proofreader and lector programmes organised by the Turkish Publishers Association. She has been working at Marmara University School of Foreign Languages, where she has been teaching since 2001. She is also a newly minted translation editor who has worked on three Javier Cercas novels.
