The writer and playwright Giulio Cavalli (Milan, 1977) has been living under protection since 2007 for his determination in the fight against the mafia. He collaborates with several newspapers and has several published research books, including: Nomi, cognomi e infami (2010); L'innocenza di Giulio (2012) and Mio padre in una scatola di scarpe (2015). He was a member of the Observatory working on legality and regional council of the Lombardy Region. In 2019, he won the Campiello Prize - Literary Jury prize with Carnaio (The Waves) and was a finalist for the Naples Prize, while his work is currently published in four countries. It has been released in Santamamma (2017), Disperanza (2020) and Nuovissimo Testamento (2021) from Fandango Publications.
